All was quiet till about 10.30 when Tina made a big fuss of picking up a stack of files from her boss’s desk and walking out through the general office. She weaved around people’s desks, speaking to some, passing papers to others. It really was put on, she didn’t need to do this, we all had a pigeon hole where everyone else put their papers in. I saw why Tina was doing this when she slid past Sharon who was standing up, loading a printer with paper. Tina gave her an extra hard bump sending the ream of paper all over the floor and Sharon into the wall next to the printer.
Sarah rolled her eyes, Kirsty giggled and we all knew Sharon would erupt. We didn’t have long to wait either. Sharon picked up the spilt papers and loaded the printer. Tina, after a quick glance at Sharon, and a quicker sneer that we all saw, walked on. As if to show her contempt for Sharon, Tina dumped files Sarah’s desk right on top of some work Sarah was doing at the time. Sarah was Sharon’s greatest friend in the office. Tina shoved her ass on Sarah’s desk causing more papers to be messed up “These heels are killing me” Tina muttered kicking them off and wiggling her nylon clad toes.
Sarah looked up “hmmff, what are you doing here? I don’t want your clutter here, now let me get on with her work. Her desk is messy enough already”
“It wouldn’t be if you did your work” hissed Summer, Tina’s crony.
Just as Tina got her shoes back on and picked up her file Sharon stepped over as if to go to the water cooler to get a drink but bumped Tina who was facing Sarah hard into Sarah’s desk. Tina gasped and stumbled knocking the files all over Sarah’s desk. “It had to be you, bitch” she hissed as she strode over to Sharon at the cooler. Seizing her blonde hair she thrust her head under the tap turning it on hard.
